Cover Feature: Block Architectures in 2D Polymer Networks Fabricated via Sequential Copolymerization in a Metal–Organic Framework (Chem. Eur. J. 11/2025)
Sequential crosslinking copolymerization of vinyl monomers within a pillared-layer metal–organic framework successfully provided 2D block copolymer networks with unimolecular thickness. Formation of the unprecedented block structure in the polymer monolayers introduces a novel strategy for designing polymeric nanomaterials with flexible yet anisotropic properties, opening new dimensions in the field of 2D materials.
