Compact Substrate Integrated Wave-guide Filtering Crossover with Wide-Stopband
A compact substrate integrated waveguide filtering crossover with wide-stopband is proposed. TE<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">202</inf> and TE<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">102</inf> modes in half-mode cavity are fully suppressed by utilizing offset centered feed ports and offset centered coupling windows, respectively. And then, a filtering crossover with a rejection level greater than 20 dB up to $2.54 f_{0}$ can be achieved. A prototype operating at 8 GHz was designed, fabricated, and measured to verify the proposed structure. The measurements demonstrate excellent agreement with the simulated results.
