Design and Implementation of Cross-Domain Collaborative Authentication Protocol Based on Blockchain
Background: This article aims to address the issues of inaccurate trust evaluation, low communication efficiency, and insufficient security in traditional identity authentication systems, and proposes a cross domain collaborative identity authentication protocol based on blockchain technology. Method: A blockchain network authentication node was designed, including verification nodes (VP) and non-verification nodes (NVP), and initialized through a third-party trust authority (TA). And adopting PoA consensus mechanism and dynamic trust evaluation mechanism to prevent malicious node attacks, improving the collaborative identity authentication protocol of consensus algorithm to ensure transparent and traceable trust relationships between nodes, and completing the identity authentication process after users move to a new trust domain. Result: In the testing of cross domain progression from level 1 to level 4, the computation time is stable and the shortest, especially at level 1 cross domain where the computation time is only 10.4664 milliseconds. When the sending rate of authentication requests increased to 300 TPS, the throughput of our proposed solution increased to 262, showing a relatively stable growth trend. Under 400 authentication requests, the delay time of this scheme is only 1320 milliseconds, demonstrating significant advantages in low latency and verifying the efficiency and practicality of the protocol. Conclusion: The protocol proposed in this article demonstrates high efficiency and practicality in cross domain collaborative identity authentication.
