Research on THz Antenna Pattern Measurement and Experimental Verification Technology

This paper introduces a measurement system for THz antenna pattern. The system is built based on planar near field theory. Compared to existing work, we focused on the main impact factors of the measurement results such as distance, interval and scanning size. And we validated the result indicated that the system is suitable for W band antenna pattern test, and we believe that it can be suitable for higher frequency bands.

Abstract

This paper introduces a measurement system for THz antenna pattern. The system is built based on planar near field theory. Compared to existing work, we focused on the main impact factors of the measurement results such as distance, interval and scanning size. And we validated the result indicated that the system is suitable for W band antenna pattern test, and we believe that it can be suitable for higher frequency bands.
