A Millimeter-Wave Wideband Circularly Polarized All-Dielectric Transmitarray Antenna
In this letter, a “Hamburger” shaped all-dielectric element is designed and used to construct a $25 \times 25$ transmitarray antenna operating in Ka band. After the linearly polarized incident wave transmits through the “Hamberger” element, the polarization mode of the radiated transmitted wave becomes circularly polarized. As shown in simulation results, the proposed transmitarray antenna has the merits of high gain and wideband. The $1-\mathrm{dB}$ gain bandwidth is 35.7%, the $3-\mathrm{dB}$ axial ratio bandwidth is 31.1%, and the gain is 29.1 dBi with an aperture efficiency of 47.5% at 35 GHz, respectively.
