A Simple Approach to Rapid Estimation of Temporal Patterns for Ultra-Wideband Arrays

This manuscript delineates a simple and high-efficiency method designed to fulfill the time-domain pattern estimation requisites for ultra-wideband arrays within the confines of experimental testing environments. The cornerstones of this approach are grounded in the principles of aperture radiation theory, spatial superposition, and the substitution of the tangential electric field waveform replaced by the excitation pulse ignoring the change caused by propagation and reflection. The validation findings demonstrate that this method is applicable for high-efficiency estimation of time-domain pattern, featuring simplicity in implementation and independence of the structural configuration of the array element.
