Research on Regional Economic Development and Application of Computational Economics Method
As an important part of the national economy, the development of regional economy directly affects the prosperity and stability of the country. Based on the theory of regional economic growth and regional industrial structure, this study constructs a comprehensive computational economic model. This model combines system dynamics (SD) model and agent-based model (ABM) to simulate the complexity of macroeconomic dynamics and microeconomic behavior. By collecting and preprocessing the regional economic data, we define the research problems and model scope, construct the theoretical framework, set the parameters, and finally design the calculation experiment to simulate different economic scenarios and policy interventions. The experimental results show that globalization and regional integration have the highest contribution to GDP growth, reaching 27%. In terms of prediction accuracy and model interpretability, the method combining system dynamics and agent-based model is superior to the method using SD and ABM alone. The highest prediction accuracy can reach 98.4%, and the determining coefficient of model explanatory power can reach 0.99. These results provide strong decision support for the formulation of regional economic policies and show the broad application prospect of computational economics methods in regional economic planning and resource allocation.
