Simulation of Real-Time System Identification for HALF Superconducting RF Cavity
The stability of the superconducting radio frequency (RF) cavity is very important for the operation of Hefei Advanced Light Facility (HALF). The bandwidth and detuning of cavity are important parameters of monitoring for RF system control. To meet the requirement of parameters monitoring, a real-time parameter identification model for superconducting RF systems is developed based on least squares algorithm by Simulink. The model can be used to estimate the cavity bandwidth and the detuning by correlating the incident signal and the voltage inside the cavity. The model meets the requirement of real-time fitting the bandwidth and detuning of the PI-controlled cavity under CW modes.
