Optimal Parameter Extraction of Triple-Diode Photovoltaic Model Using Frilled Lizard Optimization
In this paper, a novel and efficient method for high accuracy parameter estimation of the three-diode solar cell model is proposed. In this regard, Newton-Raphson numerical method was integrated to increase the efficiency of the Frilled Lizard Optimisation (FLO) algorithm and the analyses were performed with reference to the RTC France module data. In addition, the root mean square error (RMSE) was selected as the objective function, and the results obtained were compared with the harris hawks optimisation, particle swarm optimisation, sine cosine algorithm, multi-verse optimisation, grey wolf optimiser, dragonfly algorithm optimisation algorithms reported in the literature in various metrics. The results obtained show that the proposed algorithm has high accuracy and strong consistency compared to other studies, especially with the lowest RMSE value of 0.0073024.
