Ultra-Wide Dual-Polarized Frequency Selective Surface with High Roll-Off Characteristic
In this paper, a highly selective dual-polarized frequency selective surface (FSS) with an ultra-wide passband is proposed. The proposed FSS achieves a -3dB bandwidth from 2.12 GHz to 6.08 GHz with excellent frequency selectivity. Through multilayer coupling, the FSS maintains a low profile, facilitating practical manufacturing. The angular stability of the model reaches 50° in both TE and TM modes, with a maximum insertion loss below 1dB. This research contributes a novel FSS design with promising practical applications.
