2D-DOA Estimation Based on V-Shaped Distributed Improved Migrated Coprime Array
This paper proposes an improved migrated coprime array, which achieves greater contiguous degrees of freedom and aperture under the same number of array elements by shifting and hole-filling operations on partial array elements of a onedimensional migrated coprime array. The array is further extended to a V-shaped distributed structure, solving the angle coupling issue present in two-dimensional direction of arrival (DOA) estimation. Averaging redundant elements in the virtual array and applying spatial smoothing, followed by the dual-scale ESPRIT algorithm for two-dimensional DOA estimation. Simulation results validate the superior performance of the V shaped distributed improved migrated coprime array structure.
