An Inline Miniaturized Dielectric Waveguide Filter with Triple-Mode in a Shared Cavity
A type of inline miniaturized dielectric waveguide filter with tiple-mode in a shared cavity is proposed for the first time. In the shared cavity, three resonators at TE<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">101</inf> mode are configured to realize a cascaded triplet topology. The designed filter is easy to process and saves 66% of the volume compared to conventional dielectric waveguide filter with multi-cavity structure. The synthesized and simulated results prove the potential and practicality of proposed structure in 5G wireless communication systems.
