Wideband Circularly Polarized Transmitarray Using 2 Bit Magneto-electric Dipole Elements
A wideband circularly polarized magneto-electric dipole transmitarray antenna is presented in this paper. The unit cell, designed for wideband performance, achieves circular polarized radiation through orthogonal probe feeding and 2-bit phase adjustment using a rotating probe method. The prototype demonstrates a 31.4% 1-dB gain bandwidth and a 44.7% 1.5dB AR bandwidth, achieving high-purity circular polarization. Measured peak gain is $\mathbf{2 6. 5} \mathbf{~ d B i c}$, with peak aperture efficiency of 53.5%. The CP TA is printed on the PCB, offers cost-effective mass production, making it a promising candidate for wireless and satellite communication applications.
