Strengthening Energy Infrastructure Security: A Blockchain Approach for SCADA Systems
This paper explores the potential of integrating blockchain technology to enhance security in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. SCADA systems are widely used in various industries to monitor and control critical infrastructure, making them prime targets for cyber attacks. By leveraging the decentralized and tamperresistant properties of blockchain, SCADA systems can be better protected against cyber threats. This research examines the benefits, challenges, and implementation strategies of incorporating blockchain-based security systems in SCADA environments. Case studies and real-world examples are analyzed to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for organizations looking to strengthen the security of their SCADA systems.
