Dual-Polarized Angle Selective Surface with Multiband Characteristics
In this paper, a dual-polarized angle selective surface (ASS) with five passbands is proposed, which is mainly composed of two identical frequency selective surfaces(FSS) layers to ensure the symmetry of the structure, and each layer of FSS is symmetrical in the center and connected with adjacent cells. The simulation results show that the structure has five passbands with the center frequencies of $8.44 \mathrm{GHz}, 8.55 \mathrm{GHz}, 9 \mathrm{GHz}, 9.6 \mathrm{GHz}$, and 10.54 GHz, and can adjust the angle of the passband and stopband by controlling the operating frequency. The angle of the passbands at all frequency points is kept within 5°. Moreover, the simulation result of the structure under TE polarization and TM polarization is in good agreement and has good polarization stability.
