A Single-Layer Differential Circularly-Polarized Filtering Antenna Based on SIW
This paper proposes a single-layer differential circularly-polarized filtering antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). Circular polarization is achieved through two pairs of $\mathbf{T M}_{11}$ modes by using a circular patch and a circular SIW cavity. Two pairs of L-shaped slots and four pairs of metallic pins were utilized to redistribute the resonant frequencies of the two modes and broaden the bandwidth. The designed antenna has a compact structure and good filtering response.
