Detection of Moving Targets Assisted by GNSS-TAG Technology

This paper proposes a novel moving target detection system that integrates GNSS bistatic radar with TAG technology to enhance the reflection signal strength of dynamic targets. The system employs a dual-channel synchronous reception approach to reconstruct the direct signals. Using time-domain correlation properties, it extracts target distance information. Subsequently, the Differential Carrier Phase (DCP) method is utilized to ascertain the target’s Doppler information. Experimental results demonstrate that this method offers higher accuracy in Doppler estimation and lower complexity compared to the Cross-Ambiguity Function (CAF) and Moving Target Indicator (MTI) methods, thus enabling more precise detection of moving targets.
