Forest Height Mapping Based on Block Adjustment Model Using Twin-satellite InSAR and ICESat-2 Data
Aiming at the problem of insufficient observation information in estimating forest height using single-baseline and single-polarization twin-satellite InSAR data, a semi-empirical model based on block adjustment is proposed. The proposed method uses the spaceborne LiDAR forest height as the control point and selects the tie points to establish the constraint relationship between the different interferograms, thus realizing the large-scale forest height inversion. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, TanDEM-X InSAR data was used for testing and verification. The results show that the proposed method has higher accuracy than the traditional method, and the RMSE is reduced from 5.43 m to 3.89 m.
