E-class Engagement and Behaviour Tracking Using Machine Learning for Virtual Education
Guaranteeing engagement and monitoring attentiveness between students have become extremely hard as a result of the rise of virtual education. Online environments are less conducive to the use of traditional engagement assessment techniques like reading facial expressions and body language. In order to monitor student attendance and guage involvement this study offers a novel approach that uses convolutional neural networks CNNs to analyze emotional states in real-time using webcam data. The suggested system can detect students' presence and assess their level of attentiveness based on their facial expressions including signs of focus and distraction. This technique automates attendance tracking and offers insights into student behaviour during online sessions by using a collection of photos and ideas to train the CNN model educators may optimize their teaching tactics and respond to educatee concerns promptly thanks to these systems real-time feedback. By Bridging the gap between physical and digital learning settings the study shows how effective machine learning approaches are at improving the virtual classroom experience.
