A Satellite Communication Phased Array Antenna with Polarization Tracking Function
A satellite communication phased array antenna with polarization tracking function is designed. A same-layer feeding structure with a T-shaped placement coupling slot is designed in the antenna element to reduce the profile height and improve polarization isolation. The antenna array adopts a slot design to reduce mutual coupling. A unique polarization calibration method is introduced for phased array antennas equipped with polarization tracking capabilities and the calibration process, along with the subsequent testing of the antenna, has been successfully carried out. After processing and testing, the antenna array can operate in the frequency range of $11.45-12.75 \mathrm{GHz}$ with a relative bandwidth of $10.74 \%$, and can achieve a wide range of beam scanning under different polarization directions.
