A metasurface with jointly independently modulated dual hybrid beams for SWIPT
A metasurface with dual-polarized and high efficiency of jointly independently modulated dual hybrid beams is proposed for Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer (SWIPT). The unit of the metasurface is composed of a cross patch, a parasitic stub and a grounded dielectric substrate. A $20 \times 20$ array is formed based on this unit and fed by a standard horn antenna. By joint independent regulating the multimode hybrid phase, the high-order Bessel beam carrying Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) mode 2 and the central near-field focused beam are simultaneously generated for information transfer and power transfer respectively. The results show that the presented metasurface operating at 5.8 GHz can realize the independent regulation and efficient transmission of the hybrid beams without mutual interference, and has a desirable prospect in the application of SWIPT.
