A Broadband RCS Reduced Polarization Conversion Metasurface Design
In this paper, we present a broadband polarization-converting metasurface for radar cross section (RCS) reduction. The metasurface cell exhibits a polarization conversion rate exceeding 95% within the frequency range of 9.7 GHz to 22.3 GHz. The RCS reduction of more than 10 dB in the frequency band is achieved by forming the cells into an array of 6*6 and arranging them in a chessboard.
