Band-notched Linear Polarization Converter Based on Anisotropic Metasurface
In this paper, a linear polarization conversion metasurface with notch characteristics based on multimode resonance is proposed. Its cells consist of two split rings and an oblique dipole structure in a grounded dielectric substrate. It exhibits dual transformation nulls between two polarization con version bands, thereby achieving band-notched characteristics. The simulation results show that the developed polarization converter can achieve more than $\mathbf{9 0 \%}$ polarization conversion rate in two frequency bands $(6.15 \sim 10.42 \mathrm{GHz}, 16.65 \sim 20.28 \mathrm{GHz})$. Furthermore, the equivalent analysis of PCM is carried out using the four-port circuit model, the simulation results obtained using the equivalent circuit analysis method exhibit excellent agreement with those obtained from electromagnetic simulation.
