Efficient numerical calculation of GaN microwave amplifier circuit based on time-domain spectral element method
In this paper, the simulation of active nonlinear microwave network with physical basis compact model is presented by time-domain spectral element method. The method of time domain spectral element simulation with DC bias voltage is discussed, and the effectiveness of the method is verified by an example of microwave power amplifier circuit. The effective boundary truncation, which can replace PML, is realized by using linear lumped elements as matching load, and meaningful conclusions are obtained. Numerical simulation shows that the method can greatly reduce the unknowns and speed up the calculation. It has a good theoretical guiding significance for the design of GaN microwave amplifier circuit.
