Wideband Dual-Polarized Antenna With Novel Grid Patch for Base Station Applications
In this paper, a new antenna with a wide impedance bandwidth and filtering properties for Base Station Applications is presented. By printing a new grid patch on the other side of the substrate, the antenna achieves broadband width and filtering properties. The antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 48.1% (ranging from 2.43 to 3.97 GHz), covering the n41 band for 4G and n77 band for 5G. The simulation results show that the antenna has an out-of-band suppression greater than 12 dB and in-band isolation exceeding 28 dB.
