TDOA Indoor Positioning Based on an Improved Whale Optimization Algorithm
In the domain of indoor wireless positioning technology, non-line-of-sight conditions significantly impact signal ranging accuracy, thereby diminishing the positioning accuracy of conventional least squares and CHAN algorithms. To address this issue, we propose an improved whale optimization algorithm (IWOA). Firstly, the target position equation is established based on the time difference of arrival (TDOA) positioning model. Subsequently, we use IWOA to solve the target position equation. Experimental results demonstrate that IWOA enhances positioning accuracy, affirming the algorithm’s effectiveness.
