A Structure-Embedded High Temperature Resistant Antenna Using End-Fire Ceramic Helical Structure

A structure-embedded high temperature resistant antenna with wide beam is designed using the ceramic helical structure. The dielectric helical antenna utilizes the fast wave radiation principle of dielectric waveguides under mode TM01 excitation, and can achieve a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of over 40%, which is fed directly through coaxial. The helical antenna is embedded into a ceramic material with heat resistance achieving thermal insulation performance. The high temperature resistant antenna achieves a -4 dBi gain beam width of $\pm 40^{0}$ in the frequency range of $5-6 \mathrm{GHz}$. The designed antenna has undergone thermal simulation experiments, with a surface heat source temperature of $1000{ }^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$ and a duration of 1000 s. The results show that the temperature of the feed port can be maintained within $50^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$.
