Wideband Multi-Section Wilkinson Power Divider

A wideband Wilkinson power divider (WPD) utilizing single-layer microstrip lines is proposed, operating over a frequency range of 2 GHz to 24 GHz. This extensive operating range is achieved through a multi-sectional structure comprising nine sections. The proposed WPD maintains a compact size of 12.5 mm by 3 mm, facilitated by a high dielectric constant ceramic substrate. Simulation results indicate a reflection coefficient better than -10 dB, port isolation exceeding 16 dB, and a maximum insertion loss of 2 dB at 24 GHz.
