An Ultra-Wideband Planar Reflectarray Antenna

In this paper, an ultra-wideband (UWB) planar reflectarray is reported. The unit cell can achieve nearly consistent equivalent distance delays among specific UWB operating band and a Vivaldi antenna is designed as a feed to illuminate the array. A planar reflectarray antenna composed of 376 elements is simulated. Results show the reflectarray antenna is capable of achieving relatively stable and satisfactory radiation characteristics across the UWB band.
