A Ka-Band Endfire Filtenna Based on Short Stub-Surface Plasmon Polaritons Structure
This paper introduces an endfire filtenna in the Ka band. Using transmission of substrate integrated coaxial line (SICL), a linearly tapered slot antenna is used as the radiation structure, a short-stub is used as the high-frequency cutoff structure, and surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) are used as the low-frequency cutoff structure. This structure is called SS-SPPs. Successfully achieved an endfire antenna with bandpass characteristics within the specified frequency band. The integrated design of this antenna and filter can enable the antenna to have both radiation and filtering functions, which is conducive to the miniaturization and integration of the entire system.
