Dual-Wideband Circularly Polarized Antenna Array with Stacked Magneto-Electric Dipoles for Millimeter-Wave Applications
A dual-wideband circularly polarized (CP) antenna array using stacked magneto-electric (ME) dipoles for millimeterwave application is proposed. It consists of a sequentially rotated array of four dual-band CP ME dipole antenna units. Each antenna unit is composed of two stacked ME dipole antennas and is fed by a rectangular slot coupled to a microstrip feed. The results show that the proposed antenna array exhibits two wide CP operation bandwidths of $\mathbf{3 2. 2 \%}(\mathbf{2 5. 5 2 - 3 5. 3 4} \mathbf{~ G H z})$ and $\mathbf{1 6. 8 \%}$ ($\mathbf{4 5}-53.26 \mathrm{GHz}$) with the realized gains of $5.4-13$ dBic and $9.2-13.4$ dBic, respectively.
