A Dual-Circularly Polarized Conformal Phased Array Antenna
This article proposes a dual circularly polarized conformal array antenna, which achieves a larger lateral projection aperture by adding cylindrical layers and rotates the orientation of the intermediate layer array elements to ensure scanning performance at low or even negative elevation angles through phase compensation, polarization equatorial distribution is achieved, which ensures the normal operation of the array during scanning. The array achieves radiation performance with a gain of over 13 dBi in the azimuth direction of 360° and elevation direction of -10° to 90° in the frequency band of 2.2-2.3 $\mathbf{G H z}$, meeting the requirements of semi spatial scanning.
