A Dual-wideband PIFA Antenna Pair For 5G Metal-frame Mobile Terminals
In this paper, we proposed a PIFA antenna based on the metal frame of mobile terminal. The PIFA antenna is inserted with four L-shape slots and fed through a three-way fork feeder with two grounding points to motivate serval working patterns. The antenna is capable of covering from 2.3 GHz to 2.7 GHz and 3.8 GHz to 7 GHz. Each factor affects antenna’s performance has been analyzed carefully and the characteristics such as reflection coefficients, radiation efficiency, gain and radiation pattern are simulated. Reasonable results show that the antenna is a candidate for mobile terminal applications
