Near-field Focusing Analysis of High-Frequency Large-Scale Antenna Arrays
In this paper, we propose a method for calculating the near-field electric field and power density of high-frequency large-scale antenna arrays driven by multi-channel sub-arrays. As for a high-frequency large-scale antenna array, the electric fields of target points located in the near-field region of the array are obtained by superimposing the far-field radiation electric fields of each element. A numerical example of a high-frequency large-scale antenna array’s near-field power density distribution is given, both when the focal point is fixed and when the focal point coincides with the observation point.
