Measurement of Complex Permittivity in 0.11∼0.5THz with Microwave Field Loading
In this paper, a material complex permittivity testing system with microwave field loading in 0.11∼0.5 terahertz range is proposed. An inversion of the complex permittivity of the material is carried out using the open resonator method, and a re-entrant resonant cavity is designed in the system to provide a microwave field environment for the material. The open resonator in the system is designed with multi-channel coupling and operates at 0.11∼0.5 THz. Meanwhile, the inner conductor of the re-entrant coaxial cavity is used as the plane mirror of the quasi-optical cavity for sample loading.
