3D Printing-based 1-bit Reconfigurable Metasurface Achieves RCS Reduction
In this paper, we propose a 1-bit reconfigurable metasurface design based on 3D printing process. By controlling the ON-state and OFF-state of the PIN diode, a $180^{\circ} \pm 30^{\circ}$ phase difference is achieved in the frequency band from 7.9 GHz to 10.1 GHz. Simulations were conducted to achieve a maximum radar cross section (RCS) reduction of 15dB by composing the units into a chessboard.
