A Wideband MIMO Antenna with High Isolation
A wideband monopole antenna is presented in this paper. The antenna consists of two loop-shaped monopoles, two microstrip feedlines, and a defective ground. On the top layer, the loop-shaped monopole connects to a microstrip feedline to accomplish the wide operating band. On the bottom layer, the ground is cut by two V -shaped slots and a rectangular slot, connecting four T-shaped branches to achieve good impedance matching and high isolation. The antenna achieves a wide impedance bandwidth of $60 \%(7.7-14.3 \text{GHz})$, and the port isolation within the bandwidth is better than 25 dB.
