The Design of Miniaturized S-Band Frequency Selective Surface For Switching Radome
In order to solve the disadvantages of weak antenna anti-interference ability and the electromagnetic non-modulation of the traditional passive frequency selective surface (PFSS) used as a radome, the application scenario is narrow. In this paper, a design scheme of miniaturized active frequency selective surface (AFSS) loaded with diodes is proposed. The scheme achieves the miniaturization of the cell by bending the feed line, and the switching of the electromagnetic window in the switching state is achieved by changing the state of the PIN diode. It is capable of switching the transmission/reflection state between 2.45 GHz and 3 GHz. By using this unit in a radome, a reconfigurable switched electromagnetic window that can be switched between two states of in-band transmission and out-of-band reflection can be obtained.
