Design and Fabrication of Magnetoelectric Dipole Antennas Using Metal 3D Printing Technology
This paper presents a novel 3D-printed pure metal magnetoelectric dipole base station antenna array, designed for dual-polarization operation at ±45 degrees. The antenna operates in the B42 frequency band ($3.4-3.46 \text{GHz}$), achieving isolation and return loss values of less than $- \mathbf{1 5} \text{dB}$. The antenna array demonstrates a high gain of 12 dBi and an impressive front-to-back ratio of 44 dB. These performance metrics highlight the potential of this advanced antenna design for efficient and reliable base station applications in modern communication systems.
