Realization of a Broadband Absorber based on Tightly Coupled Antenna Array and Back-Loaded Absorbing Circuit
This paper presents a design of a dual-polarized broadband absorber unit based on a tightly coupled antenna unit and a back-loaded absorbing circuit. The antenna unit consists of a dielectric layer, metal patches, metal columns and dipoles. A broadband absorption circuit is formed on the back of the metal ground using a dielectric layer, a microstrip line and a resistor to achieve an absorbing effect in the range of 3.95 GHz to 9.66 GHz. The structure has a total thickness of 7.69 mm and dimensions of 11.954 mm in both length and width. This structure allows for adjustable devices in the circuit, facilitating dynamic reconfigurable wave absorption function with many potential applications.
