The characteristic features of creative independence in the context of primary school age are investigated on the basis of a humanistic and personality-oriented approach. The conclusion is drawn that creative independence finds its embodiment in the author's artistic images based on the processing of individual impressions of the surrounding reality and expressing a child's worldview. The role of experimental activity and artistic reflection is emphasized. The result of the study is a description of the pedagogical conditions for the development of creative independence in primary school, based on motivational, cognitive and activity structural components.
