Femtoscopic study in the J-PARC-HI project

We have proposed conducting a Femtoscopic study as part of the J-PARC heavy-ion (J-PARC-HI) project, focusing on two main topics: measurements of correlation functions including an α -particle and the decomposition for spin-dependent processes. The α -hadron correlation function does not require consideration of spin or isospin dependence in their interaction because the spin and isospin of α particles are both zero. The J-PARC-HI has a significant advantage over the LHC and RHIC facilities for α measurements, with a production rate of α particles 2–3 orders of magnitude higher at J-PARC-HI energies compared to the LHC energies. While spin decomposition presents a challenge, it may be feasible by measuring the proton spin direction using a proton polarimeter. The J-PARC-HI Femtoscopy will play an important role in both hadron and strangeness nuclear physics.
