Vacuum Parity Effects for the Casimir–Polder Potential betweenTwo Chern–Simons Layers

The Casimir–Polder potential of an anisotropic neutral atom between two Chern–Simons plane-parallel layers is studied. The effect of 180 $${}^{\circ}$$ rotation of the Chern–Simons layer on the value of the Casimir–Polder potential is analysed both for isotropic and anisotropic atomic polarizabilities.

Abstract

The Casimir–Polder potential of an anisotropic neutral atom between two Chern–Simons plane-parallel layers is studied. The effect of 180 $${}^{\circ}$$ rotation of the Chern–Simons layer on the value of the Casimir–Polder potential is analysed both for isotropic and anisotropic atomic polarizabilities.
