Research on Two-component Sensor Information Fusion Wire Rope Non-destructive Testing Sensor

Aiming at the shortcomings of single Leakage Magnetic Flux Testing or single Main Magnetic Flux Testing method in wire rope NDT method, this paper proposes a new wire rope NDT method based on the Fusion of Two-component Sensor Information, which combines the two techniques of Magnetic Bridge Testing and Poly-magnetic Ring Testing, and is able to detect the same damage point at the same time and obtain the information of main magnetic flux and leakage magnetic flux, the advantages and disadvantages of Main Magnetic Flux Testing and Leakage Magnetic Flux Testing methods are complementary to each other, which improves the accuracy of damage detection. The theoretical analysis of the excitation principle of the sensor excitation device, the Main Magnetic Flux Testing principle of the magnetic bridge and the Leakage Magnetic Flux Testing principle of the poly-magnetic ring. Through simulation, the level of each factor is changed to verify the conclusions obtained from the theoretical analysis. Finally, the damage detection experiment is designed, and the experimental conclusions coincide with the conclusions obtained from the theoretical analysis as well as the simulation results, which verifies the feasibility of the Two-component Sensing Information Fusion NDT method and the rationality of the Two-component Sensing Information Fusion NDT sensor.
