Dynamic Cybersecurity Risk Assessment and Control Frameworks Applied to Enhance Power System Security
The reliability of power supply systems is inherently linked to the security of power monitoring systems, which face complex network communication structures due to the integration of diverse hardware devices from multiple manufacturers. This paper introduces a dynamic control mechanism-based cybersecurity risk assessment methodology designed for power monitoring systems. The proposed method aims to offer a robust protection framework to ensure the uninterrupted operation of these critical systems. By implementing a dynamic trust evaluation system, it can swiftly detect and mitigate attacks on devices, thereby bolstering the system's overall security. The effectiveness of this approach is validated through experiments that demonstrate its ability to identify compromised devices under various anomaly and update rates. The results indicate that the trust evaluation algorithm is highly effective in pinpointing all devices that have been compromised.
