Application and exploration of IoT technology in the construction of intelligent hospitals

In the construction of intelligent hospitals, Internet of Things(IoT) technology plays an important supporting role. It realizes information exchange between patients, medical equipment, drugs, and medical staff. IoT technology not only improves the operational efficiency of the hospital, but also saves human and material resources. However, due to the lack of wireless network technology standard for IoT, while a large number of terminal devices access the spectrum using different wireless network technologies, it may cause communication conflicts. This paper combines cognitive radio technology with IoT technology, and proposes to build an IoT based on cognition. When a large number of terminal devices access the fixed frequency bands that allocated by traditional wireless communication protocols, the frequent competition to access brings about the scarcity of network resources. The IoT based on cognition utilizes cognitive radio technology, providing additional spectrum resources for information transmission. It solves the access or communication conflicts of IoT terminal devices, and improves the data transmission reliability of IoT.
