Igualdad y libertad: Franciscus van den Enden y Baruch Spinoza
The article seeks to elucidate whether van den Enden shaped in some way the theories that Spinoza later developed. To do this, we will first analyze the life of van den Enden and how Spinoza came to establish a relationship with him. Then, we will examine van den Enden’s political theory in order to systematize it in key points that allow a comparison with Spinoza. Finally, we will analyze whether it can be adduced if there is a proximity or distance between the proposals of both authors.
