Measurement of anisotropic elastic constants of glass fiber reinforced resin matrix composite laminates
Abstract Aiming at the measurement of anisotropic elastic constants of glass fibre reinforced resin matrix composite laminates, the study was conducted to prepare glass fibre reinforced resin matrix composite specimens by using a vacuum-assisted resin transfer moulding process. Based on the electrical measurement method, a mechanical test platform was set up to conduct tensile and shear tests, and the tensile elastic modulus E, shear elastic modulus G, and Poisson’s ratio μ of the composite laminates were measured, which provide a research basis for the design and optimization of subsequent composite structures.
