High-performance coatings for corrosion protection of power equipment and their performance analysis
Abstract Power equipment of new energy and novel power systems, exposed to harsh corrosive environments such as high temperatures, saline, high flow rates, and oxidation, pose a significant risk to their safe, efficient, and normal operation. In this study, an Al 2 O 3 /Fe-Al coating was prepared on the surface of stainless steel, and its high-performance anti-corrosion effect was verified by extreme corrosion tests. Additionally, the study analyzed the micro-structural changes and elemental migration of the coating in the corrosion process. The coating’s excellent resistance to extremely high temperatures and oxidative environments indicates its potential for application to the outdoor power equipment of various new energy and novel power systems.
