The simulation of thermal stability in perovskite solar cells

Abstract The purpose of this study is to study the performance changes of perovskite solar cells under fluctuating temperature conditions. The temperature of PSCs fluctuates dynamically in this environment over an extended period due to the interaction between solar radiation and the surrounding temperature. The lowest temperature is 13°C, the highest temperature can reach 63.4°C, and the thermal stress, thermal strain, and displacement are analyzed and the structure is optimized. The findings demonstrate that stress, strain, and displacement of PSCs rise dramatically with decreasing temperature when the structure temperature is below the volume reference temperature. Stress, strain, and displacement all significantly increase when the temperature rises above the reference volume temperature of the structure. At both the lowest and maximum temperatures, the optimized structure’s stress and strain values are less than those of the original structure.
